You tell us about the project — where it is, what stage it's at, and which decisions are looming. We talk through where help would actually make a difference.
Project review & scoping
We review plans and requirements, establish the full list of selections your build needs, and agree the scope. A $100 deposit reserves your appointment and comes off the total.
Selection planning
Decisions get mapped to your builder's schedule, so long-lead items are settled first and nothing lands on the critical path unresolved.
Curated recommendations
Options are narrowed to a considered short list in each category, checked for cohesion across the whole house and against your budget.
Showroom & vendor appointments
We arrange and attend appointments with showrooms, vendors and product reps, so you are seeing the right products with someone alongside you.
Decisions finalised
You make the final call on every selection, at the point in the schedule where your builder needs it.
Documentation & handoff
Final selections are organized and documented, then handed to your builder or vendor — who orders, purchases, receives and installs.

What exactly is a selections consultant?
Someone who guides you through the permanent decisions a construction project demands — lighting, plumbing, cabinetry, hardware, flooring, millwork, paint, exterior finishes — and makes sure they get made on time, work together, and are documented for your builder.
How is this different from an interior designer or decorator?
Decorators furnish and style finished rooms. We work on what gets built into the house and stays there. No furniture, no rugs, no artwork, no accessories — just the fixtures, finishes and materials your builder needs answers on.
Do you order or purchase anything for me?
No. We guide the decisions and document them. Ordering, purchasing, receiving and installation stay with your builder, contractor or the vendor. That keeps us independent — our advice is not tied to selling you product.
Do you work with my builder, or instead of them?
Alongside. We work to your builder's schedule and their vendor relationships. The goal is fewer delays and fewer change orders, not another party for them to manage.
When should I bring you in?
Earlier than most people expect. Long-lead items drive the schedule, and the decisions that cause the most stress are usually the ones made last. Planning stage is ideal; mid-build still works.
What does it cost and how does billing work?
Three packages, starting at $450, with add-ons for extra time, extra showrooms or job site visits. A $100 deposit reserves your appointment and is applied to the total. The balance is invoiced before work begins.
What if I already have some selections made?
That's common and completely fine. We work with what's already decided and build the rest around it, so the house still reads as one cohesive whole.
Where do you work?
In person around Mandeville, LA & the greater New Orleans area. Travel included within 30 miles or 30 minutes. Beyond that, a flat $50 per trip. Virtual selection support is available anywhere.
